Lyrics I Love

Cool coastal breezes, you can do as you please. We got nothing to but sea, starring back at you and me

What is a 3rd coast you might ask?

Well, for me a third coast is any place that's right. A place where you get the warm & fuzzies inside, life if good and everything is right with the world. Your third coast can last for 10 minutes or it can last a lifetime.

You can't actively look for it though, you just follow your heart and it will find you.

I guess you can tell I'm from Texas, I could be living anywhere and I'd still be "from" Texas and I would still find my third coast. I suppose it's kinda like you can close your eyes for a fleeting second... and use your mind to take you anywhere you want to go, your third coast can follow you anywhere.

I've got to thank a good friend of mine, Larry Joe Taylor for helping me be more aware of my very own third coast. That's him in the banner image above in a shoot we did for a DVD in tribute to our friend Rusty Wier, (RIP Rusty) in regards to Rusty's song "Sunrise in Port A". And yeah, we really did get up for the Sunrise.

Inside these pages you will find out about me along the way. Most of this site is really just a place for me to hang my bookmarks of stuff I'm interested in. I'm kind of an eclectic kind of guy, I like a lot of different styles of music but this site will mostly focus on Texas songwriters, many of whom are my friends. I am a 1st class geek & nerd, not that I am really good at much but I dabble at a lot of programing, website creation and image programs.

I like to do Photography and play golf as well.

There will be some areas about my wonderful family, my wife Chantel, my daughter Kelley and my son Chase. Buddy the dog may even sneak in every once in a while. So stick around, watch the site develop, come back often.

All in all, I'm doing pretty good. Since I found my 3rd coast.

    Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Priest!

My very good friend and business partner with puretexan.com, Mark Priest, wed his longtime hell of a catch Lora Levine this weekend in San Angelo Texas.

The wedding took place at Mark's Miss Hatties Bordello Museum (see previous Blog post) and was a wonderful event. After weeks of 100+ temps the day brought rain and a pleasant 70ish degree day with no rain during the ceremony.

Mark and Lora dressed in vintage attire fitting to the location and looked wonderful.

I have never seen a couple so happy and so in love for so long as Mark and Lora. They have a unreal relationship that will endure the span of their lifetime, that is no doubt.

To my freinds, may you live happily ever after.

Hit the "Read More" link below to see some images I took of the wedding, I was not "The" wedding photographer, I was just taking images.
